Job Title: SEN Learning Support
Location: Romsey
Salary: £13.68 to £14.88 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are looking for a friendly and dedicated SEN Learning Support to join a welcoming school in Romsey. This role is available on a day-to-day or long-term basis, and can be part-time or full-time.
As a SEN Learning Support, you will help teachers and students. You will support students during lessons, either one-to-one or in small groups. Your job is to make sure all students feel safe, cared for, and ready to learn. You will play an important role in helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) do well at school.
What You Will Do:
- Help teachers deliver fun and engaging lessons.
- Support students with their learning, feelings, and behaviour.
- Work with small groups or one-to-one with students who need extra help.
- Create a kind and inclusive classroom for all children.
- Help organise the classroom and prepare learning materials.
- Encourage good behaviour and teamwork.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in a school, especially with SEN children is desirable.
- A real passion for helping students do their best.
- Good communication skills to work well with teachers and students.
- Able to support different learning needs and styles.
- A CV showing your last 10 years of work history with no unexplained gaps.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
