Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wareham
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time/ Permanent

GSL Education are looking for a friendly and caring Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a vibrant school in Wareham. This is an amazing opportunity to help create a kind and welcoming classroom where all students feel supported and can do their best.

As an SEN Teacher, the job is to help every student learn in a simple and fun way. You will create a friendly and safe classroom where students feel comfortable and excited to learn. Your support will help students grow in confidence, learn new things, and reach their goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Use fun and creative ways to help students learn.
  • Check how well students are doing and give helpful advice.
  • Work with other teachers and staff to support students.
  • Keep up to date with new ways to teach SEN students.
  • Create a classroom where everyone feels safe, respected, and included.
  • Help students learn school subjects and important life skills.

What You Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar.
  • Experience teaching students with special needs is desirable.
  • Good understanding of SEN teaching methods.
  • Clear and friendly communication skills.
  • Ability to encourage and support different kinds of learners.
  • Willingness to help make school a welcoming place for all students.
