Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Weymouth
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

Are You a Passionate Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher Ready to Make a Difference?

GSL Education are looking for a motivated and caring SEN Teacher to join a friendly school in Weymouth. You will have a wonderful opportunity to support students with special educational needs and help them grow. In this role, you will plan and teach lessons that fit each student’s learning needs. You will help create a welcoming and supportive place where students can do well in school and feel happy.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and teach lessons that help each student learn.
  • See how students are doing and change lessons if needed.
  • Work with helpers, parents, and other staff to support students.
  • Make the classroom a happy and safe place to learn.
  • Help students behave well and feel good.
  • Keep notes and follow safety rules.

What We Need From You:

  • You must have a teaching qualification (QTS or similar).
  • You should have worked with children who have special needs. (Desirable)
  • Be patient, kind, and caring.
  • Good at talking and working with others.
  • Want to help make school a friendly place.
  • A CV that shows your work for the last 10 years with no missing parts.
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be happy to get one with GSL Education.
