Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ September 2025
Contract Type: Full time/Permanent

GSL Education are looking for a caring and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Christchurch. This role is perfect for someone who wants to bring joy and progress to children who need it most.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be a strong support for students with SEN. You will help them overcome challenges and discover what they are good at, step by step.
What You Will Do:
- Create lessons that help each student learn in their own way and teach them.
- Use different teaching methods to help students learn in their own way.
- Build good relationships with students to help them feel confident.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to give the best support.
- Check how students are doing and change lessons to help them improve.
- Make sure your classroom is safe, friendly, and welcoming.
What We Need From You:
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a similar teaching certificate.
- Experience teaching children with SEN is desirable.
- You should be kind, patient, and have a good attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
- Your CV must cover the last ten years without any unexplained breaks.
- You must have an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be ready to apply for one.
