Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / September 2025
Contract Type: Full time/Permanent
GSL Education are looking for a kind and caring Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in a warm and friendly school in Bournemouth. This is a great chance to help students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) learn, grow, and feel good about themselves.
As an SEN Teacher, you will make a safe and happy classroom where all students feel welcome. You will plan lessons that fit each child’s needs and help them do their best. You will need to be patient and ready to use different ways to teach.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach lessons that suit each student with SEN.
- Change how you teach to help every child learn.
- Make your classroom a happy and safe place for all.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and other staff.
- Help students become more confident, independent, and friendly.]Check how well students are doing and change your teaching if needed.
What You Need:
- A teaching qualification like QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching students with SEN in a school is desirable.
- A kind and patient way of working.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A CV that shows your last 10 years of work or study, with no gaps you can’t explain.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or be happy to apply for one.
