Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Brighton
Salary Range: £120-£200 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preference. You will be expected to plan lessons, assess pupils’ progress, and work closely with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and well-structured lessons that support all learners.
  • Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of individual pupils.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members.
  • Follow the school’s policies, including safeguarding and behaviour.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum (Primary).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A child-centred approach to teaching.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
