Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Lytchett Minster
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent/Full time
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate

About the Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will play an important role in helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential. You will plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs and work closely with other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher
- Plan and teach lessons that meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.
- Organise and lead activities that encourage curiosity and a love for learning.
- Monitor student progress, give helpful feedback, and adjust your teaching methods when needed.
- Create a classroom environment where every student feels safe, respected, and motivated.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe learning space.
Requirements of SEN Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills to work well with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and the ability to inspire and support students.
- A full 10-year career history with references from the last two years, including your most recent teaching role.
