Intervention Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School – Romford
Location: Romford
Daily Rate: £85 – £130
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time Only

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Romford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intervention Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students who require additional academic help, particularly in core subjects such as English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group academic interventions

  • Support students with varying levels of need, including those with SEN and EAL

  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working in a secondary school or with secondary-aged students

  • Strong subject knowledge, especially in English and/or Maths

  • A calm, confident, and empathetic approach to working with young people

  • A commitment to supporting the educational and emotional development of students

Please note: All applicants must have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection. An enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this role.
