GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teachers to work in local primary schools in Doncaster.

As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners. You’ll work closely with school staff to support academic and personal development and ensure each child receives a positive and enriching school experience.

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

  • Teach pupils across Early Years, KS1, or KS2 following the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to mixed abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support pupils’ emotional and social development alongside their academic learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff and parents/carers to maximise pupil outcomes.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and staff meetings as required.

School Teacher- Primary Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school setting as a Primary Teacher is preferred.
  • A nurturing and resilient approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
