Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking to recruit a dedicated and friendly Primary Teaching Assistant to work in supportive schools across Rotherham. Whether you are looking for day-to-day work or a longer-term position, part-time or full-time, we have opportunities starting from September 2025 to match your needs.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will help pupils with their learning and classroom activities. You will support the teacher, work with small groups, and help children feel happy and confident at school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help the teacher with classroom tasks and lessons.
- Support children during learning activities and playtime.
- Assist pupils who need extra help with their work.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and carers to support children’s learning.
- Encourage good behaviour and a positive attitude in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
- Friendly, patient, and supportive attitude.
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to work in different schools if needed.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
