Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Needed in Rotherham!
Job Title: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are looking for an Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) to join a lovely nursery or early years setting in Rotherham. This is a great chance to support children in their early learning and be part of a helpful and supportive team. You will help create fun and safe activities for children aged 0-5 and support their learning, play, and development every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities for young children.
- Make sure the setting is safe, clean, and welcoming for all children.
- Watch how children learn and grow.
- Keep simple notes to share with parents and staff.
- Work well with other team members and build good relationships with parents.
- Support children with their behaviour and help them follow routines.
- Join in staff training and support other school activities when needed.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or something similar).
- A real love for working with children and helping them learn.
- Friendly, patient, and caring personality.
- Good at talking and listening to children and adults.
- A strong interest in keeping children safe and happy.
- A current CV that covers the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
