Cover Supervisor – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £94 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

Are you passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom? GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators who are eager to make a positive impact. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and productive.

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.

  • Support and guide students where needed throughout the school day.

  • Record attendance and feedback on pupil progress for teaching staff.

  • Assist with basic classroom setup and resource distribution.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in an educational setting is desirable.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage secondary-aged pupils.

  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable attitude to classroom supervision.

  • A genuine interest in education and helping students succeed.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
