Job Title: KS2 Teacher
Location: Barton-upon-Humber
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a passionate Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to work in a friendly school in Barton-upon-Humber. In this role, you will support children in Year 3 to Year 6 with their learning and development. You will be part of a supportive team that values creativity and encourages new ideas to help every child reach their potential. The school is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment where both staff and students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach clear and engaging lessons to KS2 pupils.
  • Support pupils with their classwork and personal progress.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and a love for learning.
  • Work closely with other teachers and support staff.
  • Monitor progress and help pupils achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience in KS2 or a strong interest in teaching this age group is desirable.
  • A friendly and supportive approach to teaching.
  • Good communication skills and a team mindset.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
