Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £120 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

As an ECT, you will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils. In return, you will receive tailored mentorship and professional development to help you successfully complete your induction and thrive in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Track and evaluate student progress, offering meaningful feedback to support ongoing development.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with fellow staff and communicate effectively with parents to maximise student success.
- Engage in ongoing training and mentoring to refine your teaching skills and grow professionally.
- Take an active role in school life by contributing to extracurricular programmes and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A genuine passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on feedback from mentors and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
