Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are actively recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing school in Scunthorpe. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced educators and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in and out of the classroom to access learning and achieve academic goals.
- Work closely with the class teacher to prepare learning materials and provide 1:1 or group interventions.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in education and child development.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
