Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Grimsby
Salary Range: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an experienced and passionate KS2 Teacher eager to shape the minds of tomorrow? GSL Education are looking for a confident and creative Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking school in Grimsby. In this role, you will lead dynamic and engaging lessons that challenge and motivate pupils, promote a positive learning environment, and support children in both their academic achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and teach lively, curriculum-aligned lessons that spark interest and deepen understanding in Key Stage 2 subjects.
- Motivate pupils to reach their full potential through high expectations and engaging instruction.
- Monitor learning outcomes and adjust strategies to ensure all pupils make consistent progress.
- Foster a classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion, and builds self-esteem.
- Work closely with support staff, families, and school leaders to enhance each child’s learning journey.
- Uphold clear behaviour expectations while nurturing a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working within the classroom teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Passion for primary education and student progress.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
