Salary: £130-£180 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Spalding. This role is to commence ASAP and offers a competitive daily rate of £130–£180, dependent on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic, personal, and social development of pupils aged 7–11. You will be responsible for planning and delivering the KS2 curriculum, supporting individual needs, and creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the KS2 national curriculum.
  • Promote high standards of attainment, behaviour, and inclusion.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support continued development.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2.
  • In-depth understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogical strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Effective classroom management techniques to maintain a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and creativity, with the ability to differentiate learning and support a wide range of abilities and needs.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
