This full-time position begins in September 2025, with the potential for a permanent or fixed-term contract following a successful probation period.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Engage and Inspire: Deliver dynamic Science lessons across key stages, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Innovative Teaching: Create engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
- Student Success: Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Inclusive Classroom: Build a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where all students thrive.
- Community Involvement: Participate in extracurricular activities and science-related events.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality curriculum delivery.
- Student Support: Promote student well-being and provide additional academic support where needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level is preferred, but ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment: A dedication to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Motivation: A drive to inspire students and cultivate a love for Science.
- Preparedness: An up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
