Job Title: Primary Education Teacher
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Primary Education Teacher to join a well-regarded mainstream primary school located in Fareham, Hampshire, with availability for either a September or immediate start. We welcome applications from UK-qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers, and overseas-trained educators with UK-equivalent qualifications.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class within the primary phase, delivering creative, inclusive, and high-quality lessons. You will work within a collaborative team that values continuous improvement and a child-centred approach to education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
- Work closely with colleagues, leadership, and parents to promote academic excellence and well-being.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and professionalism.
- Participate in school life, including extra-curricular and community events.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications from ECTs and internationally qualified teachers are welcome.
- Prior experience teaching in a primary classroom, whether in the UK or abroad.
- Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and reflective skills.
- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
