Primary Teacher
Location: Wivenhoe
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and well-resourced primary schools located in Wivenhoe.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you’ll be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive classroom where every child is encouraged to achieve their best. You will deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils, while building strong relationships with colleagues and families to support student progress.
This opportunity is perfect for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to grow in a nurturing environment.
Your Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:
- Deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with the primary curriculum across KS1 and KS2
- Encourage and support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safeguarding
Primary Teacher Qualification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Solid knowledge of the National Curriculum for Primary Education
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
