Primary Teacher
Location: Tiptree
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

If so, GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to work in supportive and inclusive primary schools in Tiptree. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers to make a real difference in pupils’ lives.

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Early Years, KS1 or KS2 depending on your strengths. You will be expected to foster a positive, engaging, and challenging classroom culture where children thrive both academically and personally.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, giving constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Engage in school activities and contribute to a collaborative school ethos
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and behaviour management

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Excellent understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Recent teaching experience in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
