Primary Teacher
Location: Halstead
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join vibrant primary schools in Halstead. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to contribute to a positive and nurturing school community.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages children to achieve their best.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
- Foster a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
- Support the school’s wider objectives and participate in staff development
Requirements for Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Experience working in primary education settings as a Primary Teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to raising standards and inspiring young minds
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
