Job Title: Girls’ PE Teacher (Physical Education)
Location: Brentwood

Salary: £100- £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about sports, fitness, and inspiring young women to unlock their potential? A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brentwood is on the lookout for an energetic Girls’ PE Teacher to join their team.

As a Girls’ PE Teacher, you will lead engaging and inclusive PE lessons that encourage teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong love for health and physical activity. You will be a role model and motivator, helping students build both their fitness and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach PE to female students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver dynamic practical and theoretical PE lessons.
  • Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and competitions.
  • Promote inclusivity and well-being through active lifestyles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the wider PE department on school sports events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant overseas qualification.
  • Experience teaching PE to secondary-age students.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for promoting girls' participation in sports.
  • full and up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
