Location: Witham
Salary: £100 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students with a range of special educational needs. You will design engaging lessons, adapt teaching strategies to individual needs, and work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through engaging activities and lessons.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to student development.
  • Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic role.
