Job Title: HLTA Primary
Location: Romford
Salary: £90 – £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and progressive primary school in Romford as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), where staff are truly appreciated and every child matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead well-structured and stimulating lessons for pupils in EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 when the class teacher is unavailable.
- Provide tailored academic and emotional support to individual pupils and small groups.
- Design and organise learning activities that align with curriculum goals.
- Help with pupil assessments, behaviour management, and implementing intervention strategies.
- Work in partnership with class teachers and the SENCO to enhance pupil progress and attainment.
- Play an active role in the broader life of the school, including events and community initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- HLTA qualification (or extensive TA experience with the ability to lead a class).
- Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Confidence in managing a class and delivering prepared lessons.
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing nature.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and initiative.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
