Job Title: HLTA Primary
Location: Wickford
Salary: £90 – £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start:
September 2025 (or earlier if available)  
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Step confidently into the teacher’s shoes when needed – leading lessons with creativity and care.
  • Provide tailored support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on school needs.
  • Work alongside teachers to plan and assess lessons that spark curiosity and encourage achievement.
  • Build trusted relationships with students, offering emotional and academic support.
  • Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to a buzzing school culture that celebrates success and supports growth.

Job Requirements:

  • HLTA status or a highly experienced Teaching Assistant confident in delivering lessons.
  • Strong grasp of the primary curriculum and confident classroom management skills.
  • A natural communicator, motivator, and role model for young learners.
  • Passion for inclusive education and a child-centred approach.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
