Job Title: Supply Flexible Teacher
Location: Wimborne, Dorset
Salary: £94 to £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

Do you wish to maintain your teaching career whilst enjoying control over your working hours? GSL Education are currently recruiting Supply Flexible Teachers to support mainstream primary schools in Wimborne, Dorset, with opportunities commencing immediately or from September 2025.

About the Role:

This position offers qualified teachers the opportunity to work flexibly across a variety of primary school settings. You will provide essential cover during staff absences, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining learning continuity. The role suits those who value a dynamic, varied working environment alongside a supportive professional network.

Responsibilities of a Supply Flexible Teacher:

  • Teach and engage pupils in line with existing lesson plans and curriculum requirements.
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively.
  • Adapt rapidly to different schools, classrooms, and pupil needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and pupil progress.
  • Provide feedback on pupil performance and behaviour to permanent teaching staff.

Job Requirements of the Supply Flexible Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching in primary education (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and organisational capabilities.
  • Professional commitment to safeguarding and high educational standards.
  • Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
