What the Role Will Involve:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and confidence building for female students.

  • Foster a culture of active participation and enthusiasm in physical activity across all key stages.

  • Promote sportsmanship, resilience, and healthy lifestyles through innovative lesson planning and extracurricular offerings.

  • Support the organisation of sports fixtures, clubs, and events that celebrate girls’ involvement in sport.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a broad, balanced, and inclusive PE curriculum.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.

  • Be an advocate for equality and inclusion in sport, empowering all students to achieve their personal best.

 

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Be a qualified Girls’ PE Teacher with QTS and relevant teaching experience in a secondary setting.

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the PE curriculum and a track record of fostering high engagement among female students.

  • Be confident in delivering a wide range of physical activities and sports.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

  • Bring creativity and commitment to both curriculum and extracurricular sport.

  • Be passionate about promoting physical health, personal growth, and female participation in sport.
