Supply Teacher – Primary
Location: Sawbridgeworth
Salary: £130 – £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting dedicated Primary Supply Teachers for schools in Sawbridgeworth starting September 2025.

As a Supply Teacher – Primary, you will be supporting schools across Sawbridgeworth by delivering planned lessons, maintaining classroom routines, and inspiring young learners. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to maintain work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons using the provided plans
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Provide feedback to staff and report on student progress when required
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare

What we need:

  • Proven experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 as a Primary Supply Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Reliable, adaptable and confident working in different schools
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
