Salary: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time

Role Overview

As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons that challenge and motivate students. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities of Design and Technology (DT) Teacher

  • Plan and deliver differentiated and inspiring DT lessons.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Lead or support extracurricular activities related to design and technology.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in all practical sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for motivating and inspiring students.
  • Ability to provide a 10-year career history with references covering the last two years.
