Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Chelmsford
Salary Range: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for an imaginative Art Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chelmsford. This is your chance to bring colour, creativity, and critical thinking into the classroom, helping students express themselves through visual arts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in Art across the students.
- Encourage students’ artistic expression using a range of materials and techniques.
- Assess and track student progress, offering feedback and support to promote improvement.
- Organise and display student artwork throughout the school.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and artistic exploration.
- Collaborate with staff on school-wide events and exhibitions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience of teaching Art in a school setting.
- A strong portfolio of your own work and/or examples of previous student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and a creative teaching approach.
- Passion for the arts and inspiring young minds.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
