Role Overview:
As a Geography Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that captivate students. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team of educators to foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver creative and inclusive geography lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular geography-related activities and fieldwork.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all activities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of verifiable references, including your most recent academic role.
- Proven experience teaching geography.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for inspiring students and promoting a love of geography.
- Additional qualifications or training in geography education are desirable but not essential.
