Teacher of Maths
Location: Loughton
Salary: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher who thrives on helping students build confidence in numeracy and problem-solving?
If so, GSL Education are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to work with one of our fantastic client schools in Loughton.
As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students through creative and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. Your role will be vital in equipping students with essential mathematical skills for academic and life success, within a structured and supportive environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to raising student achievement and encouraging a love for Mathematics.
Your Responsibilities as a Teacher of Maths:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging and differentiated lessons
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils in developing analytical thinking and reasoning skills
- Collaborate with the department to share good practice and resources
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Proven classroom experience delivering Maths as a Maths Teacher
- Strong knowledge of the UK Maths curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
