Teacher of Boys PE
Location: Witham
Salary: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher with a passion for inspiring boys through sport and fitness?
GSL Education are seeking an energetic and committed Teacher of Boys PE to join schools in the Witham area. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including both long-term and daily supply teaching opportunities, and is ideal for experienced teachers or confident ECTs.
About the Role:
As a Teacher of Boys PE, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and inclusive physical education lessons that promote physical health, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. You will be working across Key Stages, delivering practical and theoretical lessons, supporting extracurricular activities, and contributing to the overall school ethos of achievement through sport.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons tailored to boys across various key stages
- Foster a love for sport, fitness, and healthy competition among students
- Plan and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and tournaments
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and school sports programme
Requirements for Teacher of Boys PE:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in working as a PE Teacher across UK schools
- Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
- Sports experience, including coaching or playing, particularly with boys' sports teams
- Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
