SEN Teacher
Location: Bovington
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and nurturing SEN Teacher to join a committed team in a specialist school based in Bovington.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children with a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs. You will be responsible for creating tailored learning plans and delivering lessons that are both accessible and engaging, helping each pupil reach their full potential.
What you have to do as a SEN Teacher:
- Design and deliver differentiated lessons based on students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Encourage a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to support pupils’ holistic development
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as required
- Foster students' independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
- Maintain a strong line of communication with parents, carers, and external agencies
Special Needs Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Prior experience working with SEN pupils in an educational setting as a SEN Teacher
- Understanding of diverse needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Calm, resilient, and flexible approach to teaching and classroom management

- Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
