Supply Teacher – Primary
Location: Heybridge
Salary: £130 – £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are actively recruiting enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work in Heybridge and surrounding areas starting in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be working with schools across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring pupils stay engaged and focused. This is a perfect role for those who love teaching but want flexibility in their schedules.
Primary Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons based on existing planning
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Adapt to a variety of school settings and teaching styles
- Encourage and support pupils’ academic and social development
- Report on pupil progress when necessary
- Ensure adherence to school safeguarding policies
To be a Supply Teacher – Primary, the requirements are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
- Experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 as a Supply Teacher – Primary
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- Flexible, proactive, and confident in new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
