Supply Teacher – Primary

Salary: £130 – £230 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting qualified and motivated Supply Teacher – Primary to work across a range of vibrant and welcoming primary schools in Tiptree, starting September 2025.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. You will work across different year groups within the primary phase, ensuring a consistent and supportive learning experience for all pupils.

Your Responsibilities as a Primary Supply Teacher:

  • Teach pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 using existing lesson plans
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Effectively manage pupil behaviour and uphold school policies
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Provide feedback and support pupil development
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom dynamics

Skills & Requirements for Primary Supply Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
