Supply Teacher – Primary
Location: Brightlingsea
Salary: £130 – £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking to appoint passionate and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to support a network of welcoming primary schools in Brightlingsea from September 2025. Whether you're interested in daily supply, short-term placements, or longer-term roles, we want to hear from you.
As a Supply Teacher - Primary, you will play a crucial role in maintaining learning continuity across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes. You’ll work with existing planning, ensure a positive learning environment, and manage classroom behaviour while supporting children to achieve their best.
What you have to do as a Primary Supply Teacher:
- Deliver effective lessons based on pre-prepared plans across the primary curriculum
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments
- Manage behaviour positively and in line with school expectations
- Support pupil progress and provide feedback where required
- Establish a safe and supportive learning space
- Communicate confidently with pupils, staff, and leadership teams
Primary Supply Teacher Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent is essential
- Recent experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to new environments
- A positive, professional attitude with a genuine passion for teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
