Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: South Ockendon
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:
- Facilitate engaging, pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 when the regular teacher is unavailable.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and curiosity.
- Establish positive relationships with students and staff swiftly and professionally.
- Maintain a calm and orderly classroom by upholding the school’s behaviour expectations.
- Share observations and brief feedback with teaching staff to support ongoing pupil development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and classroom expectations.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
