Job Title: Supply Teacher (Primary)
Location: Westcliff-on-Sea
Pay Scale: £125 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

We are seeking dedicated Supply Teachers to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools in Westcliff-on-Sea. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, adapt quickly to new environments, and are committed to delivering high-quality education.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for pupils. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils’ academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Adapt to different school settings and classroom routines with confidence.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Use assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
- Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in different classroom settings.
- Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Be available for part-time or full-time work from September 2025.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
