Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Grays
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher ready to make a difference across various schools? If so, GSL Education seeks an adaptable and dedicated Supply Teacher to work in welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Grays.
Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Quickly build rapport with students and classroom staff.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and follow school policies.
- Provide basic feedback to school staff on pupil progress and classroom activity.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and classroom expectations.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
