Your Mission
As a Food Technology Teacher, you’ll bring the kitchen to life with engaging, hands-on lessons that teach students essential life skills and a love for food. You’ll guide learners through the science of nutrition, the art of cooking, and the importance of healthy living.
What You'll Do
- Deliver dynamic and practical Food Technology lessons to students.
- Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work that align with the national curriculum.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design & Technology department.
- Promote creativity, sustainability, and healthy eating habits.
What You Bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the school.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and health & safety standards.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

- Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
