Your Mission

As a Food Technology Teacher, you’ll bring the kitchen to life with engaging, hands-on lessons that teach students essential life skills and a love for food. You’ll guide learners through the science of nutrition, the art of cooking, and the importance of healthy living.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver dynamic and practical Food Technology lessons to students.
  • Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work that align with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design & Technology department.
  • Promote creativity, sustainability, and healthy eating habits.

What You Bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at the school.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and health & safety standards.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
