Role Overview
As a DT Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated DT lessons for students.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Organise and lead extracurricular activities and events related to design and technology.
- Promote health and safety awareness in all practical activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student development.
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology lesson.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
- Ability to provide a 10-year career history with references covering the last two years.
