Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: M1 to UPS3 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to join a thriving educational setting in Hull, with a start date of September 2025. You will be responsible for shaping learners’ academic progress while fostering an appreciation for mathematics.
Role overview
As a Maths Teacher, you will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons that engage students, deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts, and encourage analytical thinking. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to a culture of academic excellence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Support the academic growth of students through differentiated instruction.
- Assess and track student progress, offering timely feedback.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development.
- Participate in school events, CPD, and wider school initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism or strong background in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths across all Key Stages is essential.
- Ability to engage and inspire students across varying ability levels.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
