Salary: M1 to UPS3 per annum (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive educational environment in Hull from September 2025.
Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to work in a flexible and diverse educational provision. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality science lessons that cater to a range of learners and academic needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting scientific curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting learners to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with national curriculum expectations.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to promote improvement.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and school initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Science in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners through innovative teaching practices.
- Strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm, and classroom management skills.
- Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different educational settings and student needs.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
