Job Title: Teacher of PE (Physical Education)
Location: Enfield

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £150 – £250 per day (based on expertise and type of contract)

As a Teacher of PE, you will be responsible for delivering a varied and engaging curriculum that fosters a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons as a Teacher of PE across Key Stages 3–5, including team sports, fitness training, and individual physical activities.

  • Monitor and assess students' performance, offering constructive feedback to help them progress in their physical development.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

  • Take an active role in extracurricular activities and school sports events as a committed Teacher of PE.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives that enhance the PE curriculum.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical education and youth sport to inform your teaching practices as a forward-thinking Teacher of PE.

  • Maintain excellent classroom management and promote high standards of behaviour and engagement across all year groups.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialisation in Physical Education.

  • Proven experience working as a Teacher of PE in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and an ability to inspire students of all abilities.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and a commitment to professional development.

  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
