Job Title: QTS Teacher for Primary
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-time
Are you a dedicated Primary Teacher with QTS, ready to begin your teaching journey, and eligible to work in the UK?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a QTS Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced mainstream primary school in Winchester. This is a full-time role and open to candidates who possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners. As a class teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support pupil development, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and challenged.
- Assess pupil progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Promote behaviour that supports learning and wellbeing in the classroom.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications also welcomed from ECTs and overseas-trained teachers.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
