Job Title: Teacher of Primary
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-time

About the Role:
As a Teacher of Primary, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum, inspiring young learners and promoting a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience and preference).
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Use a variety of strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
- Uphold the school’s values and ensure high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Teacher of Primary requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or international equivalent recognised in the UK.
- Experience teaching in a UK Primary school setting is highly desirable.
- A thorough understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a nurturing and proactive teaching style.
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working as part of a team.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
