Teacher of Science
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

Teacher of Science Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
- Participate fully in the life of the school, including pastoral duties and enrichment activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and develop schemes of work.
Teacher of Science Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Science degree.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
- Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
- Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
