Salary: £94 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)

Key Functions of the Role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and guidelines.
- Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that motivates students to participate and progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere at all times.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the varying needs of secondary school students, including those with additional needs.
- Follow lesson plans provided or create impromptu lessons when required.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents during short- and medium-term assignments.
Criteria for the Position:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Willingness to work on a casual basis with availability to cover at short notice.
- Teachers with experience who would like more flexibility in their work are also welcome to apply.
- A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring secondary school students to achieve their best.
- A current CV covering last 10 years with every gap’s explained.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education.
